The Queen Anne's County Character Counts! Program has joined forces with the CommUNITY Mentoring Partnership and Developmental Assets to have the largest possible impact on the youth of Queen Anne's County.

All children and youth need caring, supportive adults in their lives in order to become responsible, productive citizens in their community. 

 

The Character Counts! Advisory Council believes in using a four-step model to help build citizens of character.

2021-2022 school year! 

WE are hoping that we'll be up and running and back in the school come this fall. We will need Coaches to provide lessons for the upcoming school year.

"Teen Of Character" Scholarship

Congratulations to Queen Anne's County High School Senior Kamryn Brandt. Kamryn was awarded the 

2021 Faye Lister "Teen of Character" Scholarship .

This $500 scholarship is

made possible through the

Centreville Rotary

and is available to any

high school senior who

resides in

Queen Anne’s County

and exemplifies the

Six Pillars of Character –

Trustworthiness, Respect,

Responsibility, Fairness,

Caring & Citizenship.

If you would like to become a member, Please come join us - we meet  at 9:00 on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. 

 

 VOLUNTEERS are NEEDED as mentors  in

Queen Anne's County 

Make a difference in the lives of those who are in need of mentoring. Mentoring helps one make better decisions that affect their lives

and empowers them to fulfill their dreams.

 

*Providing  Opportunities for Youth

Ages 16 to 24

*Mentors must be 18 years or older.
